NFL Divisional Round Prop Bets: Best Wager For Each Game

Divisional weekend is here! As fans and students of the game, this is arguably the best weekend of football of the calendar year. Four games, each filled with drama and intrigue.  Will Joe Burrow lead the up-and-coming Cincinnati Bengals to an upset over Mike Vrabel and his Tennessee Titans, who have continued dominating even after the injury to star running back Derrick Henry? Will Aaron Rodgers continue his MVP season and lead the Green Bay Packers back to another championship game in Lambeau? Will Tom Brady and the defending champions get revenge on the red-hot Los Angeles Rams after a Week 3 defeat in Los Angeles? Will Stefon Diggs stop Arrowhead from raining confetti, or will he fall victim to another Kansas City Chiefs victory? These games are drama-filled, so why not add even more reason to yell at the television screen this weekend and put some hard-earned cash on some player props. These are the four player props I like the most in this upcoming slate of games.  Joe Burrow over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-171) Joe Burrow has reached new heights in Cincinnati folklore, and the post-game sunglasses took that to a whole new level. Burrow has thrown 10 touchdowns in his last three contests and has thrown the ball more than 30 times in five of his previous six contests. The volume is absolutely there and the Titans will have no answer for the Bengals’ pass-catchers. Aaron Jones over 50.5 (-115) Lambeau on Saturday night might reach a field temperature low of zero degrees. The 49ers have reached this stage of the playoffs largely due to their dynamic defense. No. 33 in the backfield will play a huge part in opening up the play-action for Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Packers' offense. While Aaron Jones struggled in the latter half of the season with injuries, the Packers offense didn't miss a beat. Even with Jones' limited action, in games where he received at least 10 carries, he rushed for more than 50 yards in eight of the 10 games. Taking it one step even further, in games where Jones was on the field for more than 50% of the snaps, he averaged 63.1 yards per game. All signs point to Jones being 100% fit for the game and ready to show out.  Tom Brady over 285.5 (-115) No team in football throws the ball more than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even though Tom Brady is running out of receivers to throw the ball to, the defending champions are still finding a way to make it work through the air. The running back room is in even worse shape as now Ronald Jones and Giovani Bernard are listed as questionable to go along with Ryan Jensen and Tristan Wirfs. Regardless of who dominates the game, the Buccaneers will be throwing the ball at almost every chance they get.  Since the Week 15 loss to the Saints, the Buccaneers have gone on to win four straight contests. In those four games, Brady has averaged 310 passing yards per contest. This high passing volume came even with three blowouts where the game script wasn't calling for a pass-heavy attack. In short, the Buccaneers like to throw the ball, and no one better to be at the center of that than Brady. Brady’s best game of the season also happened to be against the Rams in Week 3—Brady threw the ball 55 times for 432 yards. Saturday night should be a high-scoring affair and Brady’s passing numbers will be a direct beneficiary of that.  Stefon Diggs plus 75+ receiving yards (-105) Last year, Stefon Diggs waited around post-game and saw the Chiefs celebrate their AFC crown as confetti rained down. He is one of the premier receivers in the league and will do everything in his power to prove that no one on the Kansas City defense can stop him.  Diggs this season has seen seven or more targets in 15 regular-season games. In his five games against playoff teams (omitting the Week 13 hurricane game against New England), Diggs averaged a stat line of 11 targets, 6.8 receptions, and 77.2 yards per game. When the stakes are high, Diggs shows out.
