Ranking players is one of the most enjoyable parts of NFL draft season, so it is about time you got in on the fun too, right?
Welcome to the make your own Big Board section of The Draft Network.
Here, you will be able to put together a list of your Top 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 200, or 300 players (or anything in between) for the upcoming draft. You can rank players by position, overall, just offense, just defense, just one school… anything you want! Let your imagination run wild! Let us show you how.
Get Started!
Here, you will need to name your Big Board—it can be anything that you want! Next, you will choose how large you want your Big Board to be. The default option is 25, but that can be changed by clicking on the number to reveal a dropdown menu with the following options: 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 200, and 300. This number represents the maximum number of players that can be added to your Big Board. Please note that you do not need to fully fill in your rankings list in order for your Big Board to be saved, viewed, and shared. For example, if you want to rank 20 players, you can select the “25” option and stop adding players after you reach 20. Always pick a number equal or greater than the number of players you wish to have on your big board. If you change your mind later, you can adjust this option inside your Big Board.
Once you have named your Big Board and selected the maximum number of players you wish to rank, click on the yellow “Create Big Board” button in the bottom right corner. It’s now time to build your Big Board!
Once you select players from the right side of your screen, they will populate on the left side. To add a player, simply click the “Add +” button on the far right. Players will initially be ranked in the order that you choose them. However, once more than one player is added, you can drag and drop players into different positions on “Your Rankings” by clicking on the three bars on the far left of the player’s name and dragging that player up or down.
You can remove a player by clicking the circle with a minus sign inside that is to the right of the player’s name. You can remove all players from your rankings by clicking on the “Remove All” button on the top right side of the “Your Rankings” section.
You can research and read The Draft Network’s scouting reports on all the players by either clicking on the player’s name or the note icon next to it.
You can find players by scrolling down or sorting by position by clicking on the “POS +” button and selecting a position in the dropdown menu. Your options include QB (quarterback), IDL (interior defensive line), RB (running back), EDGE, WR (wide receiver), LB (linebacker), TE (tight end), CB (cornerback), OT (offensive tackle), S (safety), IOL (interior offensive line), and ALL.
You can also look for a player by name by searching it in the “Find a player by name” box on the right side. If you want to see both selected and non-selected players in the “Available Players” box, just click on the box labeled “show all” located to the left of the “Find a player by name” box. If you changed your mind and want to add more players to your Big Board than you originally selected, you can change the size by clicking the box under the name of your Big Board and clicking on a higher number in the dropdown menu.
Click on the yellow “Save Board” button in the top right corner of the page. You will be prompted to log into your TDN account if you have not done so already. After you click, your board is saved and you will see a message saying: “We have successfully saved your board, what would you like to do next?” Your options are to either “Continue Editing”—which will take you back to the previous screen to select, deselect, or reorder players—or “View Your Board”—which will take you to a screen where you can see all the players you ranked and even sort them by position. To sort by position, click on the box that says “All” and select the position you want from the dropdown menu. Your options include: QB, IDL, RB, EDGE, WR, LB, TE, CB, OT, S, IOL, and ALL.
Click on the social media icons on the right side of your Big Board results. You can review prospect scouting reports by clicking on the players’ names. You can access all your saved Big Boards in the future by clicking on your account name in the top right corner of any page on The Draft Network and selecting “My Big Boards” from the dropdown menu. All of your saved Big Boards can be viewed and edited inside the “My Big Boards” section of your account page.
