The New York Giants are experiencing yet another fruitless season and appear headed toward a lengthy rebuild. General manager Dave Gettleman and head coach Joe Judge have failed to generate the expected results thus far and will be aggressive in their pursuit of improvement.

Part of the process includes letting go of players that are considered holdovers from the previous regime. Per Jeremy Fowler, the Giants are receiving a robust amount of interest regarding the availability of tight end Evan Engram. The 27-year-old pass-catching tight end is playing on an expiring contract, and a deal could be completed before next week's trade deadline.

With the deadline fast approaching, here are three potential suitors for Engram.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

Perennial contenders in the NFC, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are off to yet another high-flying start in 2021. Currently sitting at 6-1, general manager Brian Gutekunst would be wise to make every effort imaginable to bring yet another Super Bowl to their loyal and passionate fan base before their title window slams shut.

Davante Adams represents a dominant presence on the outside, but the Packers have largely failed to surround Rodgers with a plethora of weapons in the passing game. Current starting tight end Robert Tonyan has failed to capitalize on the momentum he built a year ago when he shockingly burst onto the scene and has recorded a disappointing 155 receiving yards through seven contests. Acquiring Engram would immediately improve Green Bay's Super Bowl aspirations.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

An electric sophomore campaign from Justin Herbert has the 4-2 Chargers firing on all cylinders. Currently atop the ultra-competitive AFC West division, the Chargers should leave no stone unturned as they attempt to represent the AFC in Super Bowl LVI.

The breakout campaign by receiver Mike Williams has given the Chargers a fearsome duo with Keenan Allen in his regular form opposite the former Clemson standout, but this passing game currently lacks a third option that truly instills fear into the heart of opposing defenses. The 34-year-old Jared Cook is a low-ceiling player at this point, and Engram would immediately slot into a starring role. The Chargers already own one of the league's best passing attacks, and acquiring Engram would propel them even further.

TENNESSEE TITANS

The Titans' offense is finally starting to click. A top-heavy unit that has scored an astonishing 32.6 points per contest while embarking on an active three-game winning streak, the Titans have the appearance of legitimate contenders. Derrick Henry is playing at an MVP level, and the duo of A.J. Brown and Julio Jones are finally starting to produce at their expected clips.

So why should they be interested in Engram? You'd be hard-pressed to find an offense that's receiving less production from the tight end position than Tennessee is, specifically in the passing game. The offseason departure of Jonnu Smith left a sizable hole on their depth chart and the Titans have failed to replace his production. Third-string tight end MyCole Pruitt currently leads the position group with a measly 105 receiving yards. One can make the argument that the Titans don't need another option in the passing game, but the versatility would serve them nicely given the stark competition in the AFC and the injury concerns for Brown and Jones. Trading for Engram would make a lot of sense.
