Throughout the end of winter and into spring, TDN will be breaking down the best dynasty fantasy football landing spots for incoming rookies.
DRAKE LONDON
Big Board Ranking No. 20, Position Ranking WR2
Ideal Team Fits: Green Bay, Buffalo, Tennessee
Impact on Dynasty Stock: In simple terms, “Drake is a freak.”
London is the unique type of prospect that combines a big-bodied target with lateral quickness. London is the type of receiver that can and will win most “50/50” balls that can immediately spark any offense.
He would be best serviceable as an outside receiver, however, any offense that tries to utilize him in the slot would maximize his full potential. Pairing him along with a veteran quarterback would do wonders for his fantasy stock.
MATT CORRAL
Big Board Ranking No. 46, Position Ranking QB4
Ideal Team Fits: Indianapolis, Seattle, Atlanta
Impact on Dynasty Stock: Corral should pan out to be a starting quarterback at some point in his career. Joining a team with at least a semblance of offensive firepower looking for their next quarterback would best serve Corral.
Indianapolis has the offensive line and weapons that would help a player who wants to thrive in the pocket like Corral. Seattle and Atlanta both have the requisite coaching staffs to build around a quarterback looking to succeed years down the road.
Plugging Corral into an offense where he would immediately have an elite passing target is the ideal situation. It is hard to beat Pittman in Indianapolis, Metcalf in Seattle, or Pitts in Atlanta.
KENNETH WALKER III
Big Board Ranking No. 43, Position Ranking RB2
Ideal Team Fits: Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay!
Impact on Dynasty Stock: Walker is ready to be an early-down featured back on an offense ready to score. Given Tampa Bay’s eagerness to contend and unknown status with running back Leonard Fournette, drafting a back capable of playing the bell-cow role would be ideal for both parties.
Walker might have some issues early in his career as a third-down back, which would be a priority for a Brady-run offense. However, he has all the tools to succeed even as a pass-catcher eventually.
