The college football season isn’t even two months old and already there have been 40 ranked teams to lose this season. From Oklahoma State versus Texas to Kentucky versus Georgia, here are BetPrep’s key trends for the biggest matchups in Week 7 of College Football.

No. 11 Kentucky (+23) vs. No. 1 Georgia

3:30 p.m. ET (O/U: 44.5)

This will be the first time since the SEC split into divisions in 1992 that a pair of programs from the East will meet with both teams entering the game with at least a 6-0 record. The SEC East title could be on the line when it comes to this matchup.

Georgia has won each of the past 11 meetings between these two programs, which is the longest winning streak by either school in series history. In the last two meetings, the Wildcats failed to score a touchdown and hasn’t led the Bulldogs since the first quarter of the 2017 matchups. That’s a span of 15 straight quarters for Kentucky without leading against UGA.

The Dawgs have outscored their opponents by 206 points this season, with their defense having allowed only two touchdowns all year. According to ESPN Stats & Info, no other defense in the country has allowed fewer than five touchdowns (Clemson) and no other SEC defense has allowed fewer than 10 (Texas A&M).

Kentucky Key Trends

  • The Wildcats are 2-6 against the spread in their last eight games versus the Bulldogs.
  • Kentucky has covered in five of its last six games overall.
  • The Wildcats are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine games as an underdog.

Georgia Key Trends

  • The Bulldogs have covered the number in six of their last six games overall.
  • UGA is 23-11 ATS in its last 34 games coming off a win of more than 20 points.
  • The Over is 7-3 in the Dawgs’ last 10 games when favored.

No. 12 Oklahoma State (+5.5) at Texas

12:00 p.m. ET (O/U: 60)

Last Saturday’s collapse in the Red River Showdown was Texas’ largest lead in a loss in program history. The Longhorns need to regroup in a hurry, however, as the Cowboys are looking to start 6-0 for the first time since 2005.

Texas running back Bijan Robinson is tied with Michigan State RB Kenneth Walker III for the shortest odds by any non-QB and is tied for the fourth-shortest odds overall to win the Heisman Trophy at 15/1.

Oklahoma State Key Trends

  • The road team is 11-3 ATS in the last 14 meetings between these two teams.
  • The Cowboys have covered in six of their last seven road games versus the Longhorns.
  • The underdog is a perfect 4-0 at the betting window in the last four meetings between these two teams.

Texas Key Trends

  • The Under is 7-0-1 in the last eight meetings between these two teams in Austin.
  • The Longhorns are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall.
  • Texas is just 2-5-1 against the number in its last eight games in October.

No. 5 Alabama (-17) at Mississippi State

7:00 p.m. ET (O/U: 57.5)

The Crimson Tide became the 40th ranked team to lose this season, the most ranked teams to lose through six weeks in AP Poll history. The most ranked teams to lose in seven weeks is 47, which will be difficult to break this week.

Since beating Alabama in Nick Saban’s first season in Tuscaloosa, the Bulldogs have lost 13 straight meetings with the Tide. Alabama also hasn’t lost back-to-back regular-season games since 2007 (also Saban’s first season as the Tide’s head coach).

The Crimson Tide has scored at least 30 points in 32 straight games, which is the longest streak in major college football history.

Alabama Trends

  • The Crimson Tide has covered in five of the last six meetings between these two teams.
  • The favorite has also cashed in five of the last six meetings.
  • The Crimson Tide is 6-14 ATS in its last 20 games coming off a straight-up loss.

Mississippi State Key Trends

  • The home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings between these two teams.
  • The under is 9-1 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams in Starkville, MS.
  • The Bulldogs are 5-2 ATS in the last seven games as an underdog.

TCU (+13.5) at No. 4 Oklahoma

7:30 p.m. ET (O/U: 65)

The Sooners have won 14 straight games, which is the longest active winning streak in the FBS. It is also tied for Oklahoma’s second-longest winning streak since the program joined the Big 12. The Sooners have also won 10 straight against conference opponents.

The big question heading into Saturday is whether or not Lincoln Riley will start Spencer Rattler, who was pulled in the second quarter while OU was trailing 35-17 to Texas. With Caleb Williams under center, the Sooner offense came alive and it is expected that Williams will earn the start against the Horned Frogs on Saturday.

TCU Key Trends

  • The Horned Frogs are 1-5 ATS in their last six games against the Sooners.
  • TCU is 5-1 ATS in its last six road games.
  • TCU has covered in five of their last seven conference games.

Oklahoma Key Trends

  • The Under is a perfect 7-0 in the last seven meetings between these two teams in Norman and is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall.
  • The favorite has covered in five of the last six meetings between these two teams.
  • The Sooners are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 conference games.
