It’s hard to imagine that we had to wait nearly eight months for college football but the wait is officially over. The first big-time game of the college football season is already in the books (Ohio State vs. Minnesota). We just got our first glimpse at a number of players who will hear their name called in April.

As an evaluator, it’s always nice to sit back, grab a notepad, and watch the game while keying on players you know have league potential. Thankfully, due to hours of film watching this summer, I am extremely excited and prepared for this season as the scouting department here at The Draft Network has wrapped up summer scouting, watching nearly 400 players overall. With the conclusion of summer scouting, it’s only right I release my first top 25 of the season.

While it is extremely early to have concrete rankings—and with new information, the rankings will surely change—this is still a great exercise to paint a picture of where the class is overall.
